Portobello Business Centre (PBC) processes personal data in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 under its contract with East Sussex County Council (ESCC). Across programme forms and surveys, we collect only the information needed – such as business and contact details, attendance data, feedback, and, where relevant, basic business identifiers or protected characteristics – to monitor and evaluate the Growth Hub programme for ESCC and the Department for Business & Trade (DBT). Data is stored securely in the UK/EU and retained or deleted in line with ESCC requirements.
