Partnership: Drive Impact with Portobello Business Centre

Our Story

Portobello Business Centre (PBC) is a non-profit social enterprise with over 30 years of experience helping people start and grow businesses across London. We are a trusted, established partner whose income is reinvested back into the community.

Our approach blends deep local knowledge - from supporting Portobello Market traders and those affected by the Grenfell tragedy - with commercial expertise that has helped scale businesses like Karen Millen, Charlie Bigham, and Innocent Drinks.

We know what it takes to build a successful business and a stronger community.

Our Mission: Inclusive Economic Growth

We believe everyone, regardless of their background, deserves the support to build a successful venture. Since 1994, PBC has worked to create economic opportunities in areas facing significant inequality. Today, our work strengthens the local economy in Kensington & Chelsea while supporting entrepreneurs and SMEs across the wider London and Southeast region.
