Could Bitcoin change the way we do business?
We'd love you to join us for breakfast and a conversation about what the future of business payments could look like.
Think about how much the way we pay for things has changed over the years. Cash was once the norm, then came cards, contactless payments and digital wallets. Each development has changed how businesses operate and how customers choose to spend their money.
And now Bitcoin is raising another interesting question. Could we be looking at the beginning of a different way for businesses and customers to transact? It's still early days, but the potential is something we think is worth exploring.
For some businesses, it's already happening. They're accepting Bitcoin payments, reaching customers who prefer to pay that way and exploring opportunities that wouldn't have existed a few years ago.
But what does that actually mean for the average business owner? Is there a genuine commercial opportunity, or is it still too early to tell?
That's exactly the conversation we'd like to have.
On Tuesday 20 October, PBC CIC and Workspace are bringing together business owners, payment providers and industry specialists for a free breakfast event in the City of London.
We'll hear from people already using Bitcoin in their businesses, explore what accepting it could look like in practice and talk openly about the opportunities, challenges and risks.
You certainly don't need to be a Bitcoin expert to come along. In fact, if you're a little sceptical, we'd be just as interested in hearing your questions.
And it's not all about Bitcoin.
One of the things we enjoy most about bringing businesses together is the conversations that happen around the event itself.
There'll also be plenty of time over breakfast to meet other business owners, exchange ideas and make some new connections. We know from our own events that some of the most useful conversations happen when people simply have the opportunity to sit down and talk.

The event is completely free, but places are limited.
