Something exciting is taking shape under the arches of Latimer Road. What was once an unused stretch of railway space is being transformed into a vibrant hub for small businesses - a place where ideas and local ambition can thrive.
At the heart of this transformation is a new partnership between Portobello Business Centre (PBC) and Transport for London (TfL). Together, we’re working to turn the Lockton Street Arches into a space where entrepreneurship can take root and grow.
Through this collaboration, PBC will provide one-to-one business support to business occupants, along with mentoring, deliver on-site workshops covering marketing, finance, business resilience and create networking opportunities to connect local entrepreneurs.
The Lockton Street Arches are part of TfL’s Places for London initiative - a wider programme designed to regenerate spaces across the capital, making them safer, greener and more welcoming. With 11 arches under refurbishment and available for lease, the project represents a huge opportunity to strengthen the local economy and give small businesses room to flourish.
For PBC, this partnership is more than just a project - it’s a reflection of what we stand for: collaboration, accessibility and empowerment. By working alongside organisations like TfL, we can reach more people, support more entrepreneurs and create real, lasting change in our community.
If like Tfl, your organisation shares our vision and would like to collaborate on supporting London’s growing business community, we’d love to hear from you |
