Supporting Next Gen

In a borough like Kensington and Chelsea, contrast is part of everyday life. From the global spotlight of Notting Hill to communities facing real barriers to opportunity, the gap is visible and growing.

At Portobello Business Centre, this isn’t something we observe from a distance. It’s what shapes our work. Supporting our local community isn’t separate from what we do it’s the reason behind it. So when we heard about plans to start a football team at Morley College London, it felt like something worth backing.

A simple idea, but one with real impact. A space for young people to come together, build confidence and feel part of something. We’re proud to be supporting the team by funding their kits and helping bring the idea to life.

Because opportunities don’t always start with big programmes. Sometimes, they start with something as simple as showing up and making it possible.

Football is just the vehicle. What matters is what it create confidence, connection and a sense of belonging, especially for young people who might otherwise be overlooked.

As a not-for-profit, we’re committed to supporting initiatives like this. Ones that widen access, invest in young people and strengthen the communities we’re part of. This may be one small step, but it reflects something much bigger, a belief that where you grow up shouldn’t define where you can go.
